The intersection of human ingenuity and AI innovation

Deep End

Tim here. Let's jump off the Deep End into [topic].

Deep End is Tim's solo show. Technical deep dives for the people who heard something on Forked Reality and thought "I want to know how that actually works."

Where the main show stays accessible, Deep End goes deep. Tim breaks down model architectures, explains standards, walks through implementations. Not surface-level. Not beginner-friendly. Deep. If you're the kind of person who reads the documentation instead of the marketing page, this is your show.

Think "How It's Made" for AI. Tim shows you the mechanics — how a context window actually functions, how a conversation standard is structured, how cryptographic audit trails work. Step by step. No hype. Just the engineering.

The Breakdown

Tim takes a technology, standard, or architecture and breaks it down from first principles. How it works. Why it works that way. What the tradeoffs are.

The Walkthrough

Tim walks through an implementation. Code, architecture, deployment. "Here's how you'd actually build this."

The Comparison

Tim compares two approaches to the same problem. Different architectural strategies. Honest assessment of tradeoffs.

The News Breakdown

Tim takes a major AI development and explains the technical reality behind the headlines. "Everyone's talking about X. Here's what actually happened."

The Deep Dive

Tim takes a topic from the main show and goes deeper. "Shea asked me about this on Forked Reality. Here's the full picture."

Deep End and Forked Reality are complementary. The main show asks "what does this mean?" Deep End asks "how does this work?" When Tim covers something on Deep End, it often becomes a topic on the main show where Shea asks him to explain it for a broader audience. When something comes up on Forked Reality that deserves deeper treatment, Tim takes it to Deep End.

"Tim explained this on Forked Reality. Want to know how it actually works? He went deep on Deep End."
